In a World that most apps work in realtime, pooling is bad because increase
cost and is not efficient, we could use a service like Pushpin to
intermediate the REST, but it don't work very well depending the platform
and language you use, some databases like Orientdb, rethinkdb, realm,
firebase, etc has this feature, i developed a restaurante system recently
and i need request the API every 5 seconds to know if has a order, its so
bad, live query in this times and for the IoT is necessary. I think it's a
good ideia that the enginers consider implement this feature.
